I am a Charlotte Native! I went to Auburn University for my undergraduate degree and Gardner Webb for my Masters. I grew up around insurance my entire life. My dad was a Nationwide agent for 45 years and I began working in the agency in 2012 before I took over in 2019. I love helping others, it is truly a passion of mine. It is so fulfilling to see the difference I make in people’s lives! I’m licensed in NC, SC, VA, IA, and CO!

I am an equestrian at heart. I love taking my horses out and enjoying all that nature has to offer and I’ve always been involved in therapeutic horseback riding for children with disabilities. I even taught school for four years before I came into the insurance world.

In my free time you will find me on my horse, in the mountains or at the beach…I love anything outdoorsy! 

I was born in Alamance County, NC but moved to Monroe, NC when I was eight. I graduated from Wingate University and have been in the P & C insurance industry since 2003! I take great pride in helping people protect themselves against the uncertainties in life, that cause financial and personal loss.

Outside of work, much of my life revolves around horses! I love to go horseback riding and camping with my family and friends. Nothing beats a day of riding and spending time around a campfire with those I love.

My husband and I have a small cattle farm and we raise beef cattle.
When I’m not working and not out with my horses, I’m spending time with my three pups!

I like volunteering at animal rescues and supporting animal/veteran non-profits. One of my favorite ones to work with is War Horses for Veterans.

In 2020, my husband and I made the decision to move from city life in Arizona to the peaceful rural life of Kiowa, Colorado. It was the best decision we have ever made! I graduated with honors from SCC with an AAS degree in the Speech Language Pathology Assistant program. I went on to teach preschool for a number of years, and then ran a daycare out of my home for many more years.
My experience as a caregiver and preschool teacher has taught me the importance of building relationships with families. I am excited to be at Hemric Insurance caring for others through their insurance needs!
I enjoy spending time in the barn with my dairy goats and making goat milk products.

Originally from Clive, Iowa, I graduated from Grand View University with a degree in Finance and Accounting, where I also had the opportunity to play collegiate soccer. I’ve spent the past four years in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, gaining valuable experience in helping protect both businesses and families. Throughout my career, I’ve come to truly value the importance of building strong, lasting relationships with clients.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones and Kansas City Chiefs.
